This was my first time ordering BUT will NOT be my last!! Soooooo delicious!!! The halibut was sooooo good!! I'm a Maritimer so I KNOW good fish when I taste it and when I saw the light crispy batter I already knew this place knew how to batter and cook good halibut! Thanks so much! Three thumbs up!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🥰

I regret not coming here more often when I lived in the area. Great deals, great fish and great people running the place! Hidden gem, hiding in a corner of Cooksville. Thank you CF&C for all you do!

Inconspicuous little store in a strip plaza but worth seeking it out. Great tasting fish and chips. The batter is amazing and the chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The counter service was so friendly! Will definitely drop by again.

A group of friends and I drove out from the city to explore. This fish and chip store was worth the drive. I ordered haddock, it was light crispy, not oily at all and the french fries were cooked to how I like them - crispy not burnt. The atmosphere was warm, lovely nostalgic east coast decorations and bright easy to read signage of menu items. The specialty which we were not expecting, soft ice cream!! I recommend highly, oh lots of parking.

What a great find! Yummy food, great prices and excellent, friendly service! I loved my shrimp and chips -- tasty and plentiful -- and my friends loved the chance to choose from a variety of fish. There's salad on the menu, too, and vegetarian spring rolls for the non- meat eaters in the crowd.
Check out the memorabilia on the walls while uou're there. The new owners are keen to honour the history of Cooksville Fish & Chips, a community mainstay for decades.

Still amazing under new management! Huge piece of cod, perfectly crispy fries. Always delicious and satisfying. Best fish and chips in town! 👌 Don't miss their crispy, flaky goodness. A local gem that keeps me coming back for more! 🤤
